Hi, they told me that this car does not use valve seats... but instead have the head bored out, anyway sorry but this is off topic but can someone tell me where to get a hood emblem repair kit and front bumper covers for both sides for the W123?

I do not know that much about the older Engines and I do not think I have any Manuals that would tell me if there is no separate Valve Seats in the Head. (A lot of Car gasoline Engines have no separate valve seats or separate Valve Guides and even my Volvo Diesel has no separate Valve Seat; but my 300D has them.) The main thing is if the Valve guides are worn you cannot count on the Valve seating area being reground centered.

Valves must not have a feathered edge after grinding. If some do get them from the member that posted on your thread perhaps.
Your shop should know if some are not reusable after machining. |
