190D 2.2 Owners! I have a question for you!

Hey,

I'm trying to test a theory about cruise control and the older modules. See my thread: HOW-TO: Cruise Control Amp Repair 14-pin

I was wondering if any of you might take a look at your cruise control modules and tell me if it has a coding plug on it. Your cruise control amp is located at the passenger's foot well behind the plastic panel.

It contains 4-5 resistors that tell the cruise control unit what quantity of impulses per kilometer to expect from the hall-effect sensor.

Its the black piece on the back of the unit.

If your willing, I'd like to see a picture of these resistors, so I can modify one of my plugs to the same values and try my theory out. A new plug is $40!

The plug is easily taken apart, just pry it out of the back casing, then release the clips in the center with a small screw driver. Finally tilt the plastic insert and remove it from the pins, you'll end up with this:
