What has this kid done to his SDL?

1987 Mercedes 300 SDL (223K Auto)

Shouldn't there be a law against this sort of thing??

Compared to some of the stuff I've seen, this one actually looks interesting!

I like my 126 bone stock, but I'm ok with folks doing whatever they want with their own cars. We have enough &*(*@ laws on the books, so if he wants to strap a monster speaker to the roof and call it the Blues mobile, I'm fine with that!

I know you were kidding about the law thing. And I'm glad he doesn't have those damn wheel arch trims on it!

Smoke the front turn signals, replace the missing grille strips, switch to a red interior, tint the windows and I think it would be all set

Take off the Bentley sticker and maybe polish the rims and I'd drive it.. I think it looks pretty cool actually.

I like the lowered look. The whitewalls might be a bit much for me but overall not too bad.

Do you prefer the 500W sound system as well? You can power up a gymnasium with it.

No. I don't require quite that much power in my audio system, although I do have a nice little powered sub in my SDL that works just fine for me.

That looks sorta like Hot Rod's Rolls Royce Phantom...pre-accident, of course.

I also like it. The "B" is the Brabus Logo. Brabus is a Mercedes tuner along the same lines of AMG. I would be reasonably certain this is not a Brabus

Sans the tires and wheels I actually quite like the way it looks.

I this the one you were considering trading for?

Interesting "plastidip" finish. What does he mean "easy to undo if you don't like it". Does it peel off?

If its the same plastidip stuff used for tool handles, that stuff holds onto its surface decently enough
