Need some info from one of you MB experts. I will be pulling my tranny to rebuild. 260k and slow going into reverse. I am getting the seal kit and friction disks and a new modulator valve. I see the two brake bands listed but they are pretty pricey. Are they part of a normal rebuild? Is there any thing else I should get? Thanks

I'd wait and see how they look when you dismantle. You might find they don't need to be replaced. Be careful when you remove them from the brake drums they are easy to damage.
