UCA bolt orientation, does it matter?

I'm in the process of installing new upper control arms on my 1985 300D. When I removed the UCA bolts the nut end was farthest from the firewall, however it seemed to me that when re-installing them it would be easier to have the nut end closest to the firewall, particularly on the passenger side since there are some hose and hose clamps that are in the way.

Does anyone know if it ultimately matters which way the bolts are oriented?
