Rebuilt cylinder head for $350??

I talked to a guy from "Cylinder Heads International", out of Grand Prairie, Texas (www.headsonly.com). He had all the correct answers to my questions.

Rebuild includes new valves, guides, springs and seals, and valve seats cut. Head is checked for warpage, leak tested, and resurfaced. Pre-chambers are removed prior to resurfacing, and reinstalled with appropriate shims/seals, as needed. Cam shaft, gear and bearing set not included (have to put in old ones). All MBZ work is done according to MBZ specs. They dont ask for a core charge, and trust that the head will be returned. All heads accepted, whether rebuildable or not...no surprize core charges...they take the risk.

Performance Products sells the same rebuilt head for $895!!

At this point, I am inclined to go with Cylinder Heads International for much less than half the price as Perfor. Prod.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge about this company? They have been in business since 1968.

Thanks,

Mark

oops

sorry for the url mistake..correction made in original post.

The other difference between Performance products at $895 and Cylinder Heads International at $350 is the warrantee....12 months for PP, 90 days for CHI.
