83 300d power window problems

All my windows quit working the other day. There is no power going to the fuses (yes I changed them) so I had to use a jumper wire from positive of battery while the wife rolled up the windows.

I removed the instrument cluster and swapped out the relay back there, still nothing. I've replaced several fuses (just to be safe) and I have swapped out the switch on the console for drivers side windows. Still, nothing.

Any ideas? I was looking at the wiring diagram and it seems there is another relay and the door switch on the same circuit. In the wiring diagram it shows four relays that 'should' all be ice cube relays. I know where three are. Two in the box under the hood, one behind instrument cluster. There is another relay next to the box under the hood but it's black, same type of relay as ice cube just black. Is that the fourth? I replaced it since it's the most common relay.

I'm stumped. Any help or any ideas would be great. Thanks!

Nevermind, I figured it out. I should have known better! Fuse a and b is for the windows so I replaced them. Fuse 12, I checked it over the weekend but did not replace it. I decided to check it again and this time it fell apart. Popped a new one in and it's all good. I didn't notice until this morning that some other things weren't working which is what made me go look at the fuses again.

I'm stopping and buying a bunch of fuses and replacing every one of them tonight.

Brass or copper fuses cause a lot less problems than aluminum ones. Plenty available on the popular internet auction site.

As you found out Fues #12 powers the Power Window Relay and some other things.
