W210 Diesel

I'm looking at a 1999 E300TD. It has 132,000 miles. 2 owner car always dealer serviced. Great condition. All six glow plugs recently replaced. Is $9500 a fair price?

If it is in good condition in/out and has records I would probably pay that much for one if I were in the market. I've recently started servicing a couple and am pretty impressed with the car.

Electronic modules are pricey.

I bought a '98 with 200k last year for 7k, I think it is well worth the money. Currently have 235k and getting 34 mpg, excellent ride. I looked at a '99 that had just passed 100k and they were asking 16k for that.

9k is an excellent price.

I would talk them down and keep looking if they don't budge. E300D's are great, but they all need to be serviced.

I have purcahsed 2 in the past 2 years...98 with 98,000 miles, and a 99 with 113,000...for me the most important thing was the body...make sure if you are going to pay that much ,,,its free of any rust. i would offer 9 even.

Same but i think 98 made better. I feel like 99 is faster ,maybe more boost, But i was getting good mpg, 98 would hit 35 highway but my 99 hits 30 , city n highway mix about 26.

I'd go for one with 200,000 over 100000. More stuff has broken and been fixed already.
