Attachment points for towbar 124 pics needed
I am picking up a 300e parts car with a truly dead transmission. I wondered if anyone had any pics of the front end without the bumper on. I am looking for spots to attach a towbar to the front. only have to move it about 2Mi & don't want to pay for a towtruck. I won't have a lot of time so bumper removal tips would be appreciated too. Cheers Dan

Big Block,
For the 2 miles I would use a chain, To save about 2000 bucks, remove the driveshaft. Mike |

If only 2 miles can't you just tow it with a strap? Would be alot easier then removing bumper and making to bar set up. Or maybe just rent/borrow a tow dolly or trailer?

Straps are not legal here
It is pretty much impossible to avoid Official notice around here. don't want to get a ticket or fine. The transmission is toast no forward , no reverse so there is not much to loose there, If necessary I could start the car and let it run in neutral while it is being moved. plus I have a tow bar. Tow dolly rental comes in at over $60 and a car trailer is about $75. Wish I had one. I have put an ad in craigslist asking for a cheap tow so we will see if that works. Teh car is almost perfect outside but with a dead trans it is little more than scrap. Gassers are pretty much worthless around here.
