81 300sd doesnt want to start when warm
I noticed the last few weeks that my car doesn't like to immediately fire back up after i drive it and its at operating temperature... the second time i turn the key back off and on it usually will start right up.. i have recently broke off my egr vacuum hoses and just plugged if off... would this have this no start effect. I have also disabled my 3/2 valve on the valve cover and took away the vacuum lines going to the egr. Mechanical components including injectors glow plugs are new and new fuel filters all the way around.

Try pulling the brown line off the shut off valve before starting it the next time it's warm. The vacuum may not be bleeding off the shut off valve quickly enough.

I had a small Air leak on the Hoses on My Fuel Inlet where the attached to the Plastic Primary Filter.
It only showed up when the Engine was hot. The Hoses were no longer elastic enough to seal even though the clamps were tight. Any way an Air leak that opens up when the things get hot could cause some Fuel to migrate back towards the Fuel Tank. If you have a full Tank of Fuel does the prblem go away?
