A threaded end. You might have to use a couple of fittings. OR, as you suggest, you could flare the end with a compression fitting. Mine is threaded, but I guess you could go either option.

On both ends is a female threaded fitting. One female threaded fitting goes to the injector and the other goes to the IP pump. I am assuming you have the entire line with both fittings still on it.

There is no adapter made for what you have in mind.

What the other member was speaking of is there is Hydraulic Fittings that on one side have a Nut and often a Brass Collar; you cut you Tubing to the length you want de burr the end and slid the Nut on and slide the collar on the tubing.
When you tighten the Nut it compresses the Collar and seals it around tube.
But you need to find one that has the Hydraulic Compression Fitting on one end and a Pip threaded end on the other.

Another way to go is to drill out a 1/4 inch pip Plug (or other fitting) or section of Pipe and either braze, Silver Solder or use something like JB Weld Epoxy the tubing into the Plug

Below is a pic of a straight one they have elbows and so on also.

Diesel 911 hit the nail on the head and said it 100% better than I did. The only thing I can disagree with is the use of JB Weld. It won't hold.

Clearly if he can find a Compression Fitting fits that is the surest and easiest way to go.

This is what you need: McMaster Carr 5269K311 METRIC STEEL COMPRESSION TUBE FITTING, ADAPTER FOR 6 MM TUBE OD X 1/8" NPT MALE PIPE

works great and you don't ruin an injector line

I took the fitting off an injector pump at the junk yard and turned it down on a lathe to .5" and then used a 1/4npt die to cut the threads I needed.

Get yourself an old 1/4 NPT pressure gauge and cut the fitting off, drill a hole to fit the injector hard line then braze.

As I wrote in #12, "This is what you need: McMaster Carr 5269K311 METRIC STEEL COMPRESSION TUBE FITTING, ADAPTER FOR 6 MM TUBE OD X 1/8" NPT MALE PIPE"

The injector hard line mates right up to the compression side of the adapter; the other side is male 1/8 pipe thread; add whatever other fittings you need, to get from there to your pump. I got an old porta-power pump like they use in body shops; works great. Be sure to get hydraulic fittings not just brass fittings -- the pop tester will develop a lot of pressure and I hear that it's enough to blow out regular brass fittings. The McMaster Carr site is a good source for specialized hardware like this.
