MW & M lift pump the same?

My car died yesterday because of a clogged main fuel filter.
Just as it died, I was able to pull into a parking lot & change it.
I always keep essential spare parts and tools in the trunk.

When I was priming it, the hand pump was leaking like crazy.
I have an M pump at home I pulled off a Euro 300. I was thinking
of swapping out the entire lift pump instead of just the primer.

The lift pumps look different.
Does anyone know if it will swap out?
