that is exactly what it was set to max heat and defrost

Your a/c switch is still valid in winter, to take out moisture in the car when you get foggy windows on the inside, and you can still run that a/c compressor with the heat on.

It is easy enough to open up and clean/inspect the internals. Just make sure the car has not been run.

Yea that is what I plan on doing I just have to find a day we not planning on using the thing soon before it gets too cold.

Ok I never got to clean the thing work work work all the time I hate it

but the heat works if all the buttons are popped out !

so that works for me for now till I find a used monovalve cheap
