Ok. Primer pump was definitely the problem. put everything back together, fresh battery, didn't even bleed the lines, fired up with minimal resistance. However, now that I have broken the two fittings on this exhaust supply line it won't turn off when I remove the key. I have to use the manual stop button, I am assuming because the line to the IP that now has access to open air will not stop?
Anyway, picture incoming. I don't know if it will turn out decent but giving it a try. |

Just buy the hose new and change it. You may need your VIN to get the right one. You would spend more time screwing around trying to repair then have to do again until you found something that actually works.
You may be able to seal that hole and T into the the port.

Yes, when I first got my 300D I changed the Oil and I apperantly leaned on the main vacuum line and broke off the little nipples which of couse resulted in no shut down with the Key. I put a new scection of hose on the nipples and then used small drill bits to hold the Nipples in place. I sort of made a cast around the whole thing with JB Weld Epoxy. But, it is easier to just replace it. Several years later I removed the front portion of plastic line and replaced it with a rubber hose so I could route it over the top of the fender well where it is less prone to being leand on and broken.
