anybody planning anything car related on their diesels today? or on the Black Friday shopping list?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on the Forum. My wife and I are at my 91 yr old Mom`s, in Carson City, Nv. and we were originally going out with the neighbors to one of the Casino`s for Turkey dinner to take the stress off her. Now she wants to do the cooking here at the house, so we will be having a few more people to come over.

The bird is being blow torched in the oven, and my wife and Mom are busy in the kitchen, so Iam staying out of there.

No car wrenching today, or I`ll be the turkey being stuffed.
It was 29deg when I got up at 8am.

Roasting a turkey here and dinking around with a power antennae setup on the bench. Best of both worlds? I would say so.

Between three old Hirshmanns, I've managed to construct what seems to be one functional one. I just need to bundle up the wiring in to a harness so that I can add it to my car at some point. (originally the car was equipped with a manual version.)

It's been a good day, no MB content, but good visits with various fambly members. I am going to dink around with the 85 tomorrow. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving..

Thanksgiving has come and gone up here in Canada for this year. We celebrate it earlier if some Americans are unaware of this.

Have an enjoyable day and Thanksgiving. We still have a lot to be thankful for if a person reflects on things in general. If I border hopped I guess perhaps two turkey dinners might result per year. Left over turkey does not really count. Although I have had enough of it usually as the aftermath.

Still have to get my mouth on some deep fried turkey one day. Not unknown this far north but not very common either.

If you REALLY wanna try a great turkey, baste it, wrap it in foil, and toss it in the grille, close the lid.
WOW. Delicious.
