I have a friend who's 1980 300D is flaring just like my 1981 300SD used to. I advised him to try the K1 kit and even offered to install it, but I'm not sure if the installation is the same. Can anyone advise? Thanks

There is no easy repair kit for the 722.1 transmission as far as I know.

Let your friend check the vacuum first. Then adjust the modulator according to specs.
