87 300td rubber mats (Mercedes)

I had no front mats in my car when I bought it. I've got a VW TDI with rubber mats in it and I've fallen in love with them. They look sharp and they are indestructible. I asked all the local dealerships in my area if they carried or could order OEM rubber mats for my w124 wagon and nobody seemed to have them available. They all suggested I go with aftermarket mats like Loyd's or other such company.

I finally found a set online at Eckler's and having seached a while for them I thought I'd post a link in case anybody else with a 124 is looking. Not cheap at just over $100 for the set but they look terrific!

I put OEM all weather mats in most of my cars. I've got 3 sets of that style mat from the dealership, I really like them. However the pattern isn't very deep. On the Audi we got a set of all season mats from dealer and the groves are almost 1/2", you can spill a whole soda into the audi mats.

Either way, if you picked up the Mercedes ones, you will enjoy them.

True. My VW ones (probably exactly the same as your Audi) are crazy deep! I just like the OEM look of these MBZ ones with the logo on them. The rubber is soft and I'm simply concerned with wet shoes and a little dirt/mud, not overall volume.

I recommend weathertech.com

I need to get a set for my wagon. I have a set of these in my Honda CR-V. I highly recommend them.

(I have no commercial connections to them, just a recommendation as a user.)
