1999 E300D no start situation

My 1999 e300 would not start this evening. It ran once VERY roughly for a few seconds but quit. The engine turns over freely with no binds noticed and seems that it catches a little on one cyl but not enough to bring the engine to life. Glow plugs are good, oil was just changed, ambient temp tonight was 60* F and car ra fine this morning. The only thing that I got a warning on was a brake sensor saying I need brakes. Oil looks good not milky... Thinking I'm sucking air somewhere but I don't know the 606 fuel delivery system that well.... Any ideas? It has a little over 291,000 on it now. Fuel lines and whatnot look original to the car.

Typos curtesy of my iPad-
