you can take the radiator to a radiator shop and have them clean and pressure test it. my local radiator shop charges $65 to do this. they force cleaning solvents through it to really get all the gunk out, and they pressure test it to make sure there are no leaks, and also to ensure it won't blow up on a hot summer day.
