Brake pads for 1980 240D?

My light started flickering on the dash, so I need to inspect the brake pads. Does it say a name on the calipers so I know what pads to order,
Thanks, Jim

Answer

This link will help you identify the calipers.
BENDIX or ATE caliper?

If the brake system is MB stock, these are your options.

Brake Pad Sensor, x4 = 2 on each front wheel.
MB# 140 540 12 17

Brake Pad Set, Front - 15 mm Thickness
For Use with ATE Brand Calipers Only
MB# 001 420 78 20

Brake Pad Set, Front - 17.5 mm Thickness
For Use with BENDIX Brand Calipers
MB# 005 420 45 20

Brake Pad Set, Rear
MB# 001 420 06 20
