Head or head gasket problems are rare in a 616 or 617 motor. Maybe they ran it without coolant.
I never said it had no coolant in it. (bought a 300TD today. that's another story to be posted)

I think it is the way he worded it. He probably ment there was no Coolant in the engine Oil. and that there was no Oil in the Coolant.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
