Others have swapped Misubishi seats into w123s. I don't imagine Saab->w116 should be too complicated. Worst case scenario you would have to saabricate a small adapter.

I have not done myself but sat in a W124 E320 in UK with them, They were very very nice. almost as if Saab got the hidden scroll from somewhere how to make human seating devices. Before doing this swap over, I would suggest you sit in a SAAB 9000 (oldschool) and judge for yourself. Everyone's taste is different.

I have plans to do so with my W124. But then think they might look out of place and the seats in my car are very nice n original

I agree, but logging 1200 miles a week in the archaic Benz seats is a real pain...literally!!!!

I really like the W201 and W124 seats, but not sure if anybody has bolted them up to the W116 (and how to wire up the electrical adjustment function).

Make sure you also swap the seat belt receivers, so your originals can still belt you down.

id go volvo seats personally. A nice set of big comfortable swedish lumbar and posture molds.
Most comfortable seats ive ever had for long distance has been volvo seats personally.

older sets might even look close to factory if you grab the ones with the headrest inserts the pop into that awful 3 bar head net all the old 240s had
