Those ultrasonic cleaners work pretty well. A friend and I wore one out, but it took years of use.

I have the small Ultronsonic Cleaner and it works OK.
However, after several years because part of the Circuit goes through the Hinge started to fail and it started working only intermittently. I never got around to try to see If I could fix it;so I bought the bigger more expensive one when it was on sale. I had been using the small on for any part that I was able to fit into it even if it was only some oily Bolts/Nuts so I got some use out of it before it failed. The larger one does not have the circuit in the Lid and I bought the warranty when I got it. I have never used the special Chemical they sell for them I mostly use stuff like similar to Purple Power and have on occasion used Paint Thinner and Diesel Fuel. However, although I did that I know that that stuff burns and that the Cleaner gets hot; so there is a hazard to putting anything that can burn into the Tank and therefore not recommended. when I do that sort of thing the Cleaner moved outside in My Back Yard. I had not done any Injectors in the Bigger Cleaner but again had cleaned anthing that would fit into it. Either the small or large one would have worked when I threw My Ignition Tumbler into it. A lot of tiny stuff came out of it.

I bought one last December. This is my experience.
1) Shipping is fast - DHL Air from India, I was surprised. 2) The unit works as expected but documentation is OK-ish. Some parts are labeled wrongly and I have to email them for info. Email support is OK. 3) Build quality is good but the unit develops a leak after a while. I have to empty the fuel bowl after every use. It does not affect the functionality of the unit, just annoyance. I will fix it one day when I have time. It may only be my unit. Hope this helps your decision.

Fuel simply dries up inside and binds the Plunger when you push on it the Plunger will say stuck up. If you can't get it to loosen up with something like WD-40 or a penetrating oil; you take it apart and use a Brass or Aluminum Punch and gently tape it out the bottom. The Water in Diesel Fuel can sometime rust them.

If you get the chinese clone, I suggest investing a few dollars in a nice analog or digital gauage. Not the pricely ones, but something in the $40-$50 range. Well worth the investment since that is the business end of the tool, so to speak.

This is not exactly a disagreement on the Digital Gauge.
When I worked in a Shop and rebuilt Injectors We had a Diesel Nozzle/Tester built but the same US company that made the IP Test Stand; I can't spell it correctly but it was Bacharach. (And, I bought the same company Pop Tester; a New one on eBay.) The Gauge is not liquid filled or other wise dampened. And, I believe there is a good reason for that. When I used to test Injectors I would be looking to see how that Gauge Needle responded to what I was doing when working the Handle. What I wanted to see when I worked the Handle slow and steady was for the Needle to slowly move up and at the point of the Nozzle opening pressure there would be a tiny deflection above the opening press and the Gauge Needle would suddenly drop. If I saw that and the Spray Pattern was good that was a really good Injector Nozzle If the Nozzle was not so good the Needle would rise to the opening pressure but that little blip/deflection would not be there and the Needle would just drop and generally the Nozzle would sort of pee out instead of spraying. So I think the Gauge Needle can give you info on the what you want to see; the sudden opening and closing of the Nozzle which is related to the seating area of the Pintle and Nozzle. I am not sure a Digital Gauge can duplicate that; and, Liquid Filled or dampened Gages cannot duplicate that.

I agree overall, and that is why I actually have both gauges on my pop tester, a digital and analog. IMO one needs both to really dial in the "true" PSI, pop, et cet.
