Vacuuuuuuummmm!
I went to the parts store this week and bought a few feet of high quality woven vacuum hose for Mercedes($3.50/ft). I spent an hour or so replacing all the little sections of hose between the hard plastic vacuum lines including the one down under on the transmission. I must say that it was well worth the $12.00. It cleared up problems I didn't even know I had! I think I'll go back for some more and do the ones under the dash. Maybe I'll even get all the rubber tee's on some other saturday. It's the little stuff that makes these old cars complete. Nothing worse then an old car that looks pretty but nothing works...

Is this woven stuff mercedes hose or just generic stuff?

Yes, it's woven Mercedes hose. I got it from my parts dealer who deals exclusively in MB parts. Star Parts in Los Angeles if you are interested.
