I have an app on my phone called Speed View, it's a GPS based speedometer. It also has 0-60 and 1/4 mile time measurements. Originally downloaded it to check performance on the GTO and verify the speedo on the Yota diesel project. Might help you guys too.

Yup, a good app. Its the one I used to realize my SD was off.

Neither one of my cars has any significant blow-by. I'm not sure you judge compress on blow-by alone. At least not from what I have experienced. It is a good first check, though.
