Hello everyone,

I just noticed there is a 1987 190D Turbo near me at a local PNP. I think I will head over there on Friday. There are a few things I want, klima relay, transmission dipstick, exhaust, front bumper, maybe some other stuff. (Wish I could get the whole car but they might want more than what I paid for mine )

Is there anything you guys want? I might be able to pull it and get it for you!

I think the dipsticks are the same across the entire MB line... any 126/124/201 use the same stick.

The right front fender is unique to this one year on the W201. I believe the radiator is also.

The fender is unique to this year because it is unique to the model. It has a vent for the turbo.

Not sure on the rad.

Both are unique to the single year model of this car. If you are ever driving the '87 DT in your sig and happen to look away at the wrong time when the traffic stops and you rear end someone, you'd be very glad you had those 2 parts when attempting your repair. Everything else can be salvaged from numerous other 190 models.

Yes, the rad has a thicker core; it is unique to the 2.5 turbo model.

I might have to get the Rad and keep it for myself.

The fender I might pull as well. Just depends on condition and pricing.

Ask if you can buy it before you start in.

Many states do not allow jy cars to leave intact.

once they go in a PNP the only way they leave is cubed, unless they are some of the few sitting up front for sale.

Or in the pieces I plan on getting from it. This is also why I asked if anyone wanted anything. They have until Friday morning!
