No start problem on 99 E300, check out what I found

The picture shows the id of the very end of the fuel supply hose where it had been attached onto the metal hose from the fuel tank (engine compartment end). I split it and put it in the vise to lay it out for its photoshoot. The cracks were enough to prevent the car from starting but not cause any leaks. With it being postioned in kinda the "hi" spot in this particular section of run caused it to drain back down the hose from the leaking area.

Car is showing ~280k miles and I'm sure it was the original hose.
