W123 TV sighting CSI

Recorded CSI last night. Just watched opening sequence. W123 runs over
Finn. Looked like a 300D but didn't sound like a diesel. Looked like it had a
badge of some sort that I thought was a high mileage, but wasn't, bundts, pretty clean.
I like to see our old cars in action.

Actually if you look closely during Fringe episodes, old Mercedes often show up in the background in the first or second season, don't remember which exactly. IIRC quite a few were in the background on early episides of The Walking Dead.

I heard that this occurs because so many film and video crew drive them. It's natural crew cars end up used as background props. Not sure if that is true.

A nice w123 wagon in what looks to be teal is currently starring in a national TV commercial here in Canada. I mention it because the theme of the ad is to look for happiness in life, and the wagon is portrayed as owned by a couple that has... sort of neat.

During the first or second season of Fringe, there's an episode where an assassin hired by the Observers drives around in a 126 chassis 300SD.
