one little, two little, three little glow plugs, four little, five little....

OK you sang that didn't you...

what a difference 5 new glow plugs can make.

neighbor has a fiber optic bore scope i was able to look inside the glow plug holes and didn't see any carbon buildup, good thing too because i wanted to put it back together it would have been hard ordering and waiting on a carbon reamer.

Well, it is not hard to pull the GPs on a 1984 300D TD. You can order the Reamer and do the Reaming later.

homemade reamer take a old glowplug, and hammer tip flat. then sharpen like a two edgae sword to where it misses the threads screwing it in. Coat with grease and ream to your hearts content.
