'83 model 240D center console removal. Tells of taking out the upper left switch and removal of both left and right screws. I removed the switch out of the socket & I don't seem to find the screws they are referring to. One the front there are two screws to remove it tells on the tunnel side panels. I take it the carpet stays & comes out with the panel. Anyone removed one of the panels anytime lately? Thanks for any help! Needing access for the manual Climate Control Unit.
