Hey guys,

I am curious about these antennae that are being discussed relative to the later style seat belts. Does anyone have a picture to show what we are talking about? Thanks.....

[Here is a picture I found on E-Bay of the GO Boom belts like used on a 85 300D. It is for a w126, but the same.

Thanks for the pic Charmalu. I assume that the white 'ell' shaped part is the antenna item that has been referred to above. Is that correct?

Uh...yeah...I'll just install a set as soon as the weather warms up... *Backs slowly away, avoids eye contact*

I think I will just replace it, anyway. Might as well not worry about it for another thirty years, or experience that wonderful moment when you think "Huh, now where did that little thing go again?"

Hey, I just replaced my 1990 190e front driver seat belt today because I was having the same issue. I got the replacement from the passenger side of a 420 SEL (I think, or one of the w126s) It fit perfectly. The antenna part was about 4 - 5 inches longer than the one that I took out of my car, but it still fit. And it is really easy to replace, takes maybe 30 mins.
