w201 body kit question
Will the body moulding and bumpers from a '90s w201 fit an '80s w201?
I am looking to "modernize" the look of my 190d but I do not want a bulky body kit or evo repro. Since I will be painting soon I need to know if I will need to fabricate mounting holes or if the new style trim snaps right in where the old style does.

Yes but you need to swap the bumpers

The holes for the rubber strips on your early car as well as the bottom of the door strip will accommodate the clips to mount the later style cladding.

OK. Thank you. I got the all the trim from a 90s 190e. Everything fits perfect. The only problem I have run into is the rocker panel cover. There are no holes on my car for cover.
Does anyone know the part number for the clip that holds on the rocker panel cover. I am also looking for an amg style from bumper. Let me know if you have one. It can be aftermarket.
