Upper right corner of frame containing posts of the discussion, you will see a box labeled "Linkback" -- click on that, choose "Linkback URL" and then copy and paste the URL that appears.

Sane usage of the turbo modification once again is the answer. An exhaust temperature gauge should suffice. I believe there are methods to make the 616 a little powerhouse as well but they might be too much for the engine heat wise.

On the other hand a reasonable increase in the output is desired by many of us owners of the 616s. An added bonus is the fuel consumption may not drop. I doubt it would be worse driven in a similar fashion to without the turbo.

I am not a believer in a lot of things. although I do believe that running a turbo with very low fuel pressure would not be a good ideal . I also tend to believe it is not a good ideal even on a normal 616. Installation of a turbo lift pump is another thing that I suspect is beneficial. Or changing the spring in a 616 lift pump with the turbo lift pump type spring to up the supply source pressure. A boost gauge may also be a good ideal. None of the above need to be very expensive to achieve.
