Personally, while MB diesels in general are renowned for their longevity, I would be cautious about including this vehicle in that blanket statement. Good luck with the sale - I know you put a lot into it.

Well I'm not trying to sound like a snake oil salesman here, but the car has lasted 200K miles and shows -no- signs of slowing down. My other OM603 block car has 260K miles and shows -no- signs of slowing down. I won't go into my 470K mile 300D and the various other 617 block cars I've owned.

I don't see anything wrong with that statement.

Cool

Nice lookin' car!

Even though I'm mainly looking for something older, if i had that kinda $$ I'd put a bid out for it...it definitely looks worth it.

Good luck with the sale! The way it's goin', Im' sure passing the reserve price won't be a problem...

Actually, depending on how trying to sell it locally goes (or doesn't go), I may put my van on eBay...

Nice to hear that someone's had good experience with Internet selling...I had pretty much given up the idea of selling my van online. I tried to sell a '65 Chevelle a few years back, and had ads all over the Internet...paid for quite a few of 'em. 4 months later, a gentleman came up to me when I was parked at a store (I also had signs on the car) and we got to talking...he eventually bought the car.

Any suggestions besides eBay? I'm wary over Autotrader (I've bought a vehicle off there but never sold one, even though I tried multiple times)

Thanks!

Is it really green? It always looks blue on my screen. It's a beautiful car in any color! Good luck!

Yep, its Teal Green. You don't see many 126's running around with this color. I personally don't like it, but hey, to each thier own.

Man, I love that color! It looks very very close to the color of my dearly departed Jasper Green 1990 Integra. I have never personally seen a Mercedes in this color, but the pics I see make me want one. Is the paint really called Teal Green? Just wondering.

They started making the Teal Green in place of the Blue Green (one of the prettiest colors ever) in 1990. It's (Teal) like a combination of the Blue Green and the Sea Foam Green of the late 1980s... Being that the 126 would then only last 2 years, 1990 and 1991, its rare in that color. Especially in 350SD trim. Though I hated the color when it came out, it has grown on me. I must say, its nice...
