You might try applying 12v from external source to pin sockets 1 and 2 and see if motor runs. If it does and ground was good, then get a new switch. If it does not run, another check would be to disconnect green and black wires inside door. Then measure resistance from pin socket 1 to green wire inside door and from pin socket 2 to black wire inside door. They should read 0.00 if the wires are not broken between door and switch plug. Good luck with it.

If in doubt, brown wires are always ground.
