It looked like it's still in pretty good condition and low miles, just dirty and not run in a while. The exterior of the camper would likely need a full sealing up. I imagine someone bought it because of how cool and unique it is and then got busy or bored with it. And then I also think that a lot of people don't realize how nice of a job the conversion is (built by Great Dale House Car: Great Dale House Car Dedication Site), though the lack of an entry door is inconvenient, but the passenger side bucket seat was moved over up against the driver side so there is a little bit of a walkway between the passenger seat and the passenger door.
I hope the new owner leaves the car original and period-correct.

I just hope someone saves it, usually as soon as they open up the tin and see the rotten wood, it's junked .

I was interested at some point buying a rooftop tent and keeping it for camping ,slings open with a ladder to access the sleeping courters .Perfect weather right know for the outdoors and running the Mb diesel .
