I'll sell you one with 180K and no seat tears for $1,500. 400+K is longer than most of these last as you can tell by the excessive recent repairs required.

The engine and/or transmission could go tomorrow. Or they might make it another 400,000 miles. The former is the more likely of those two outcomes. However, if the OP is happy with the trade and willing to take a chance, it's not necessarily a bad move. Keep in mind we haven't seen the truck.

I'd bite on either vehicle, but try and get the price down. I got a 2.5 5spd w/ soso body and a parts car for 2900. Of course, the head gasket went right away, much fewer miles than this one.
