OM606. 910 possible delivery valve issue
Hi folks
Having rebuilt the engine with new injectors, head ect the actual running has been poor to lumpy. At first I thought it may have been the bent altitude sensor but it appears to be No1 injector not receiving fuel. swapped injectors over, same problem, cracked the injector nut very small amounts spit out and only with 4/5 turns of the nut. Other injectors spit with half turn. So I have ordered the 33 spline tool to remove the valve seats and replace. btw, during the injector rebuild several of the internal spring were caked in a soft goo, not sure what it was but 90 minutes in ultrasonic failed to budge it. I am wondering if the valve seats may have the same gunge. Any other ideas which may cause a lack of fuel to one injector (no bubbles in fuel pipes so plenty of fuel getting through) Cheers,
