Mercedes 190 "TUP" noise under floor

Hi,
When I take of foot from the gas pedal suddenly in low speed, there is a "Tup" noise from the rear bottom part of the car, also, when I change speed from, for example, third to second gear fast (when going arround another car) there is also the same sound.
I checked shaft and shaft bearring for loose, but nothing. I suspect that it is something wrong with diferential or those 4 rubbers that hold rear axle along with differential.
Did anybody had the similar problem?

PS. Funny, if I drive on passengers side, it seems that sound is comming from front right wheel?!

I have a similar sound also RF area. Some road testing makes me think brakes since it goes away when I tap/use them.

I just posted pictures of my frayed rear flex disc today (http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/363196-87-300tdt-transmission-issue.html). Post 10 is my good front flex disc. Post 11 is my bad rear flex disc.

I will be replacing mine next week when the parts arrive. It was giving my a "thumping" whenever I accelerated. The pictures explained why...

Thank You for reply. Unfortunatly, it is some problem with differential. Drove the car to mechanic, and he sais that diff should be oppened and tuned up. it is something done with comparator and lately, it can be checked with a piece of paper. As he explained to me, there is too much space between gears in diff... Funny thing is that this started to appear when I replaced oil in diff...
