I think if I used a block heater, I would definitely put a trickle charger in the car and have it wired in.

RV's sometimes have a 2 amp charger, with a switch to goto 10amps.

Is there some type of converter that would put out 60amps? Is that big battery charger the only option? Kinda bulky.

But first, clean your grounds...
I would have thought someone with the name Lucas would have been able to solve this problem

Actually, in the winter one of those great big chargers in the trunk might not only get the car started, it might allow the rear wheels to grip enough to actually get up my driveway!
