Ditto this 100% earlier this winter. Noise went away and has not come back.

Later my speedo did start bouncing around just a little bit at about 40-50 mph. A wee bit of ATF cured that. YMMV!!

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

Easiest thing in the world to fix. You wiggle the cluster forward with your fingers then when it pops out you try not to knock any light bulbs loose and reach in behind and unscrew the speedo cable with your hand. Put a few drops of synthetic engine oil down the cable and put it back together.

Try not to put any strain on the old plastic hard line coming to your oil pressure gauge. You dont want to crack that.

Snow? What`s that? Ship us out some of that stuff, we could use some out west.

Something coming down from Oregon Thurs night, looks major looking at
weather.com and the Tahoe area. a few days of snow, rain etc....we hope.

I couldnt own this car without a garage. Luckily its a single attached with insulation so my 1500w heater actually warms it up (so long as its not -20 out)
