Sounds about right, what rpm and what Diff you using? 3:07?

My 80 240D 4-spd manual, anything below 40mph, and the engine is starting to lug down, so then run it in 3rd gear.
Iam using a 3:58 Diff instead of the 3:69 all 240`s use. so maybe a 3:69 anything below 35 or so, shift to 3rd.

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

80 240D Naturally Exasperated, 4-Spd 388k DD 150mph spedo 3:58 Diff

We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works

3.07's I'm not too sure on the RPM's my tach is very finicky currently.

I forgot to mention - I'm in Wilmington, NC so if you want to come take a look you're welcome to do so. We can put it up on the hoist and look at anything you want. The body, of course, doesn't relate but the actual hard parts are all M-B, even the shifter. From the trans flange back none of it will look familiar.
