Thanks Strelnik! It was my hope to add something to the ALDA discourse when I went looking and couldn't find specific directions. I kept seeing "remove the ALDA" and I can see where once you've done it there's nothing to it but when you're wondering in the wilderness it would be nice to have a compass.

If I find I need a cap to contain the oil I'll invent something and post that, too. I might gut the old ALDA (I saved it) or maybe have my machinist turn something that looks pretty.
