W115 Side Marker Placement

Can anyone help with the placement of side markers for w115. Mine doesn't have the holes on the fenders and rear quarter panel.

I've searched through the forums and wasn't able to find any documentation or description on how it should be placed.

I'm aware that I have to drill holes, but I'm not sure where exactly.

Thanks for any info.

I'll trade you fenders. I don't like them. Why would yours not have any?

Are you looking for like actual measurements?

Before you drill look at one with them removed. The whole thing is indented.

Thanks for the offer but I'm in the Philippines. That's also why I'm not required to have them. I'd appreciate it if you could help me with the measurements.

You mean the sheet metal where the marker sits is indented?

Yeah my parts car has them off. I'll go shoot some pics. And measure here in a few.

Maybe one day I'll come there. Lol.

There are two styles.

68-69 is reflector only. Two holes.
70+ has reflector plus light. Same two holes, plus larger one in center for a relief to accommodate the light and socket + pigtail.

sheetmetal is smooth, no relief in the metal surface.

Im sure he is correct. I measured the lights but tapatalk isnt accepting pics currently. Will keep trying.

Do you want measurements of the holes? Or lights? If holes ill have to walk a bit. Probably take the dogs close to dark.

I need the distance of the 2 mounting holes from any reference point - for example, from the edge of the fender and top of the fender. Any reference that will let me position the markers correctly.

I can figure out the size of the holes.

Thanks!
