Shift Knob Thread Pitch?
Does anyone know the thread pitch for a 240d shift knob?

I'm pretty sure it's probably M10x1, but you can easily measure it with a scale

Or a nut of a known size. Pretty sure mine was a 10MMx1.0, though.

I use an open end wrench and a thread gauge when metric calipers aren't available. The open end has a go/no-go fit.

Not sure if a 190d is the same but I drilled a hole about the right diameter in a ball of cedar and screwed it on and I have a nice wood shift knob. In case you want to make your own.

i reused an old aftermarket knob with a different size and pitch by wrapping the threads in fishing line - the knob was happy to twist onto it.
