I thought the Haynes manual would tell me
But I can't find it in the book. What I need is the torque setting in pounds/feet or pounds/inch for the manifold nuts and also for the little studs with 6.5 mm allen heads that mount the oil filter housing to the block on a 617 turbo. Thankyou, Jim

I'm not sure, but as a side note, don't trust the Haynes manual for anything. Even some of the torque values it lists are wrong.. suitable for emergency toilette paper only in my opinion.
The FSM is available for free now, I would use that.

I use a 1/4" ratchet, with my hand towards the center, away from the handle end, and tighten only with my wrist... Clean bolts with a dab of loctite blue...

Well, the Haynes manual editors probably couldn't find it either. The FSM tends to hide some of their torque values in unusual places.
The oil filter housing to cylinder crankcase is 20-25 Nm. I couldn't find the values for the exhaust and intake manifolds. The section that covers removal/install of manifolds, only mentions clean flange surfaces. Sometimes, I've used the fairly standard torque values listed in charts for the grade of bolt. metric bolt torque chart - Bing images

On the 617.952 Manifold Studs when I pullded 2 of mine off I found that there is only about 4 good threads that screw into the Cylinder Head.
I also looked around for the Torque but never found it in anythig official. But they cannot be torqued to the torque from a generic chart based on their threads and diameter.
