1985 Euro 300TDT giving it some love thread...

Have now owned the car a couple years. Love the car. When I first bought it, I had to do a little to it, like replace the lift pump, change out all the filters, replaced the front suspension and give it new tires and brakes, after 2 years the brakes went and a new booster and master cylinder solve the issue.

Have it up for sale, but wife just wrecked her 99 E320 wagon, so she gets the BMW and I'm going to start driving the 85 again. (it's sat here for about 6 weeks)

Yesterday, a guy came out and looked at the car... and it's looking good, but he was nit picking about this and that... I had the car listed for 6k, which I thought was very reasonable, for what it is but after he left I started to look at the car in a different light, and well...

Work has Started! The car is going to head down and I'm going to have it repainted correctly... then a new rear axel, and a set of hydraulics for the SLS. Then the carpet and seats and a set of Hellas to get the vacuum adjustment and front wipers operational again.

Going to pull off all the door panels, check all the vacuum actuators etc, go threw the electrical system etc. Basically it's just time to make this car right.
