Any mechanics in Phoenix Tucson?

My wife just broke down 60 miles from Phoenix in my '83TD
She said she heard a weird noise and looked at the temp gauge read 120. Before it lost power and died. Waiting for a tow right now so I need to steer the tow truck in the right direction !
Thanks

The car has een towed to Phoenix a d my wife is getti g a rental so the important stuff has been taken are of.
Thank you for the recommendation.
The car was dropped at the AAA garage and they will look at it tomorrow.
I have a feeling they will scratch their heads before calling me.
At that point i will either call the local recommended shop or drive my truck from LA and. Bring it home myself!
Aargh.

On the other hand...and having lived in Arizona for 10 years...an additional perspective offered with respect:

There are places I have traveled in Arizona where a breakdown at any time of year (but especially this time of year + summer + spring) can be an extremely perilous situation: No cell. coverage, no shade, heat, max. UV index, dust storms, little or no water, by oneself (little or no traffic passing by)...serious business.

Nice that wife and W123 have been safely and successfully relocated and sheltered.

I sincerely wish you the best of luck with this!
