W123 book

Since the group order fell through, I went ahead and ordered the W123 book directly.

W123 Book - Mercedes-Benz W123 ? The finest saloon car of the 20th Century?

John Summers was very quick to answer emails, and my order was placed and paid through paypal. The book arrived about a week later.

Solid heavy book with lots of pictures and text. Bound and printed in the UK.

I will post some pics shortly.

For those who are on the fence, let me know if you have questions. Its expensive, but in my opinion, worth the price.

Great addition to any collection

Holy snotcrackers, Batman.

Look on the bright side... it would sound way worse in Canadian dollars, right now.

About $142 Canadian, to be precise.

It may be pricey but it is a nice book! I have seen/reviewed it on the net....lots of good info.....

If people are looking for virtual info on the w123...this is one of my best sites though it is translated...

Google Translate

And face it....books are getting expensive now, as they are become extinct....which is sad! I always love a physical book then something I have to keep zooming in and out to get the whole page...

Yeah sounds about right. You know what they say... "Three pointed star, three times the price." Seems to hold true for the book as well. I'm sure it's a very nice book, I'm just jesting.

Bummer the $50 was a mistake. Thank you for finally concluding the book deal: been wondering a long time, like the rest of us.

Guess will have to wait a couple Birthdays and Christmases to afford it.
