Glow plug reamer. Kit. Anyone use or know?

Found a 3 piece kit for reaming glow plugs out of the UK...

Amazon.com: Draper 23240 Expert 3 Piece Glow Plug Reamer Kit: Automotive

There is a company over there called Laser that has a similar kit... price seems fair.. anyone else used this kit before?

Looking to use them on my 85 OM617 and also my 87 OM603. In the future having the one for the 606 would be nice as well..

Right now, I have 3 GP's testing open on the 603... 3 5 and 6. So I'm ordering new bosch and new intake gasket to do the job... might as well do the reaming as well..

I only know of one Member who said he was going to buy a set similar to that about 3 years ago. Communication was by PM so there is no thread I can post and I don't remember the Members name.
Hew was in the same situation of needed 2 sizes of reamers.

But, there is no reason to suppose they would not work.

There is more the 5 Members that have bought the Laser Tool Fuel Injection Pump Sockets and I have also sold 5 of the same may years ago and no one has complained about them.
I think at least one of our Members has a Laser Tool Coil spring Compressor.

Concerning Laser Tool. I bought the first bunch of Fuel Injection Pump Sockets on eBay and they did not fit. I sent and eMail with pictures and dimensions to Laser Tool and ask them why the did not simply copy the dimensions of the Hazet Fuel Injection Pump Socket.

Not only did the get back to me they did something about the issue. About 3 Months later I got 5 free Fuel Injection Pump Sockets and they all fit perfectly. So they listened to me and fixed the problems.

Since I had a good experience with Laser Tools because they acted to fix the problem think I would go with that company .
However, I have no experience with their Glow Plug Reamers.

Ebay also sells similar sets and I think that includes the Laser Tool ones.

The Clones the Original Poster is speaking of are the same design as the one you bought.

I am not sure why they felt compelled to change the design of the Glow Plug Reamers as the old design worked fine.

If you look in the Mercedes Service Manual they show the ones pictured or one with a similar cutting end mounted on a Swivel Socket type U-joint wich I think are over $100 new.

The shorter one in the pic did the job of the 12x56 one and I think it is still around $35-$37 on ebay. The longer one for the later Diesel Engines that use the longer 12mm Glow Plugs is about $49.

How about this?

https://www.google.com/search?q=7mm+drill+bit&client=ms-android-motorola&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=shop&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAWoVChMIk8iQhavfyAIVzaOICh2yXAyp#spd=242108585637747774&spud=0

Works just as well and you get to fondle the extra cash in your pocket while you use it.

I have the reamers for the 603 and 606 from Kent Bergsma. I've done four 603s, one 606 and I only got a substantial amount of carbon from the 606 with 180k.
